Introduction
Histobulin injection is an immunomodulatory agent composed of human immunoglobulin (derived from normal human plasma) and a small amount of histamine.
It is designed to regulate hypersensitivity and autoimmune reactions, helping restore immune balance and normalize histamine responses.
Indications
•
Relief of symptoms in chronic allergic disorders such as allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis
•
Modulation of hypersensitivity in chronic urticaria and allergic conjunctivitis
•
Immune balance support in autoimmune or immunocompromised patients
•
Adjunctive therapy for patients with recurrent infections and immune hyperreactivity
Mechanism of Action
•
Antibody supplementation by immunoglobulin
IgG derived from normal plasma exerts immunoregulatory effects against exogenous antigens and autoantibodies.
•
Histamine desensitization
Repeated exposure to trace amounts of histamine suppresses hypersensitivity and stabilizes mast cell degranulation.
•
Th1/Th2 immune modulation
Suppresses overactivated Th2 responses and restores immune homeostasis.
•
Anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects
Regulates cytokine secretion to inhibit inflammatory mediators and alleviate allergic symptoms.
